Years ago, as a busy professional trying to maintain a responsible family life and community life, I used to feel stressed-out, overwhelmed and headed for burnout much of the time. 

I desperately needed a less stressful, more balanced lifestyle but I didn't know how to achieve that.

I felt compelled to search diligently for answers. I wanted to know what I could do to help myself and to help my clients.

I read books on stress and stress management, burnout, personal development, spiritual growth, and work-life balance. I read professional journal articles, attended seminars, took continuing education courses, and listened to webcasts and podcasts on these topics. I even did a Bible study on stress management principles.

Through my research and working with clients I discovered that balance is the key.

You see, stress is your body's way of generating the energy needed to meet your needs. When your life is out-of-balance, you have needs that are not being met. These unmet needs become the sources of stress.

I collected techniques and tools and developed plans to bring both rapid relief and real relief into your life through balance. I have organized these techniques, tools, and plans into a process that you can use to experience relief from stress.
